Jon will be heading to the Batten Disease Support and Research Association Family Conference which is being held in Cleveland, OH July 8-10, 2022. After 2 years of virtual conferences, it will be great to be able to meet Batten families in person again. If you see Jon there, please do not hesitate to stop him and chat.
For those that can’t be there in person there are still remote attendee registrations available. Further details can be found on the BDSRA’s website bdsra.org.
As usual, Jon will be running the Science Session, with pre-recorded video presentations from Batten scientists from all over the world (Saturday July 9, 9.45am-12 noon EST), followed by a live Q&A session. This will likely be followed by a BDSRA webinar a few weeks after the conference. Details will be announced once these have been finalized. The PSDL’s work will also be featured in the poster session.
There are additional conferences Jon will be attending in the fall to present work from the lab (details to be posted shortly). Looking further ahead we expect that information about NCL 2023 the next International Congress on NCL Research, which is being held in Hamburg Germany, will become available very soon from organizer Dr. Angela Schulz.
